Deiva Marina: Between Cinque Terre and Portofino

From Deiva Marina, to reach the villages to the west coast, you can make a very impressive way through the old train galleries. Now they are passable by car and regulated by a time traffic light because they are in a one – way alternate road. From Deiva Marina, the first village you will find after galleries is Moneglia and then Riva Trigoso. You can continue to Sestri Levante, the famous village with its two wonderful bays: BAY OF THE SILENCE AND BAY OF THE FABLES.

Portovenere

Even this area was included amoung Proprieties of Humanity's UNESCO and remains in effect a pearl of Liguria and the heart of “Golfo Dei Poeti”.

BY CAR: A12 Highway direction Livorno, exit S. Stefano Magra - La Spezia and then follow the indications to Portovenere. About 50 km from here.
BY TRAIN: arrival in La Spezia railway station, from there starts the bus to Portovenere.
BY WALK: Trail from Portovenere to Riomaggiore or vice versa.

Portofino, Camogli and San Fruttuoso

Portofino is about 50 km away from here while Camogli and San Fruttuoso 52 km.
BY CAR: to Portofino: take the highway A12 to Genova, exit Rapallo and then follow indications to Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino. (We always advise to go by car because of the traffic and parking).
To Camogli and San Fruttuoso: A12 Highway direction Genova, exit Recco. Follow indications to Camogli. San is reacheable only by walk from Portofino ora by boat from Camogli or Portofino.

BY TRAIN: departure from Deiva Marina railway station, arrival in Santa Margherita Ligure. From there you can take the bus to portofino. To Camogli and San Fruttuoso you have to stop in Camogli railway station.
